How Smart is the LINX Evolution?

LINX Evolution is programmable so water tastes the way you like it. Taking into account the quality of your feedwater, a technician programs the unit for maximum effectiveness. After install, the homeowner is able to select up to five different settings on the unit; controlling the extent to which TDS is reduced. This Dial-A-Taste Control allows you to customize the taste of your drinking water for more or less mineral content – ranging from Spring Water, Drinking Water, to Purified Water² flavor.

Ion Exchange Using Electricity – not Chemicals.

LINX stands for E(L)ectrically Regenerated (I)o(N) E(X)change. The patented process employs the basics of ion exchange technology, but uses electricity for regeneration rather than salt or other chemicals. LINX Evolution uses both cation and anion media to reduce a wide range of contaminants such as metals, nitrate & nitrite and others.

Indicator Lights Give You a Detailed Status.

LINX Evolution operates using programmable software that provides status codes to the technician and displays indicator lights to the consumer. In total, the LINX Evolution can provide up to 15 different detailed system conditions, such as regeneration progress and when service is needed. There is no guessing with LINX Evolution – it does all the thinking for you.

Over 70% of the water treated by LINX Evolution is recovered as healthy, great-tasting drinking water compared with as little as 4% from RO Systems.¹ That means if your home or office uses just one (1) gallon of water per day using a typical RO system you could waste as much as 9,855 gallons of water per year. With LINX, that number is approximately 255 gallons (at 70% recovery).
